Regional Head of Distribution – LatAm based in Miami

Overview

We are looking for a Regional Head of Distribution – LatAm. You will lead regional distribution efforts across LatAm, working with local and global teams to drive growth, broker engagement, and operational coherence across countries.

Responsibilities
  • Support Miami FAC Office underwriters by providing data and analytics to drive National/Country/LatAm strategies, with alignment from LatAm leadership and input from North America stakeholders.
  • Structure and align OE-level operations and measurements to ensure coherence and discipline across countries, coordinating with Regional Head of Strategic Relationships.
  • Lead strategic engagement with global and international brokers for LatAm/Miami, translating insights into implementation with regional leaders to drive growth.
  • Facilitate creation of initiatives (e.g., Marsh, Willis, Aon), coordinate QBRs, connect leadership, and ensure broker accountability for financial KPIs in cooperation with LatAm Distribution.
  • Work with the local LatAm Distribution Team to establish OE broker action plans, strengthen broker relationships, and drive consistency in Allianz's trading practices with strategic partners in LatAm.
  • Act as the point of contact with global teams for Reporting, regional projects, NPS surveys, and other global initiatives.
What You'll Bring To The Role
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in specialty insurance front-line business development, including strong insurance and underwriting knowledge and client/broker market experience.
  • Knowledge of large risks and specialty risk insurance, with ability to implement best practices in channel management.
  • Well-established long-term relationships with brokers at peer group level and within the local market.
  • Proven experience in operational management (financial services experience preferred).
  • Ability to define segmentation and client differentiation strategies and develop clear value propositions; able to implement tools and methodologies to gain market, competitor, and client insight.
  • Project management skills, including change management and quality management, with ability to steer projects accordingly.
  • Ability to analyze highly complex data from multiple sources, identify issues, and resolve them proactively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence key stakeholders across locations and functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Economics / Law or appropriate discipline.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and teams in the Latin American region. Portuguese proficiency is desirable.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), with ability to leverage AI-driven insights to shape strategic decisions and drive innovation.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $154,150 - $232,000. The base salary is a component of the total compensation package, with eligibility for annual performance-based incentive awards. Details vary by location and candidate qualifications.
