Position Overview

We are retained to recruit a Regional Director of Operations responsible for seven Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities in Kentucky and North Carolina. This role exists due to ongoing expansion through new acquisitions. The Regional Director of Operations will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide corporate oversight for assigned facilities
  • Assist Administrators with day-to-day operations
  • Ensure full compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Travel extensively throughout Kentucky and North Carolina, including occasional overnight stays
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance and quality improvements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' multi-facility oversight experience in the long-term care industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or a related field preferred
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing, ideally licensed in Kentucky or North Carolina.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans to drive Census and Case mix
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing budgets and financial reports
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Leadership skills to supervise and motivate diverse teams
  • Skilled in performance evaluation and corrective action when necessary
  • Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance liability policy
