Lunchtime Solutions, a K-12 Food Service Management Company, is hiring a Regional Director of Business Development to develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.The Regional Director of Business Development will be responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding geographic footprint where strategically appropriate. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, operations leaders, and Management team.This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who has a desire to make an impact in a growing organization and is passionate about fueling the minds of the future with healthy and nutritious meals daily. This position requires someone who shares our values and actively supports Lunchtime's culture, vision, and mission.Responsibilities:
  • SALES Responsible for the overall sales growth of the company and increasing company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long term growth strategies.
  • RELATIONSHIP BUILDING Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new business. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Attend and exhibit at conferences to build relationships.
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING Develop annual new business goal and strategies for the assigned area that align with company objectives.
  • CRM Master and train others in CRM functions and capabilities. Act as the primary individual responsible for customer and prospects contact info and data.
  • COLLABORATION The ability to work with many different groups of individuals, internally and externally. Collaborate with cross functional areas within Lunchtime solutions for planning and informational purposes.
  • COMMUNICATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT Communication is key for stakeholders to know about contractual expectations, obligations, performance metrics, and any compliance issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in K-12 business development and not-for-profit school food service preferred
  • Ability to identify and influence decision makers
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Must understand state/government contracting that is funded with state and federal funds
This position is a remote position based in our current operating footprint in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Missouri. Travel required based on business needs.
