Are you an experienced leader passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? Caregiver is seeking a Regional Director to oversee day-to-day functions, ensure quality care, and drive growth across our Texas region.
What You'll Do
As Regional Director, you will:
- Lead and support operations to align with Caregiver's mission and guiding principles.
- Oversee compliance with all state and federal regulations (TDMHMR, HCS, DB-MD Waiver, DADS, TxHmL).
- Manage funding sources and financial performance across assigned locations.
- Build strong community relationships through marketing and public relations efforts.
- Provide leadership in Quality Assurance and foster care/respite programs.
- Partner with the Executive Team on strategic planning and regional growth.
- Supervise and mentor team leaders (Assistant Directors, Nursing Supervisors, etc.) and manage all employment actions (hiring, coaching, performance, etc.).
- Ensure services meet the needs outlined in individual PDPs and uphold the highest ethical standards in all functions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in social services or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Deep knowledge of HCS, DADS, DB-MD Waiver, and TxHmL programs.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
