Regional Director Grassroots - Wounded Warrior Project : Job Details

Support the Grassroots and Constituent Affairs Director with the development and implementation of a comprehensive grassroots strategy to engage WWP Alumni, family support members, and other groups and, where appropriate, assist with the advancement of WWP policy priorities. Oversee WWP regional grassroots engagement for an assigned region, (e.g., East, Central, West region, with specific states to be determined), and provide leadership and operational direction to volunteer-advocate leaders to achieve organizational goals tied to legislative priorities. Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with volunteer advocate leaders, including day-to-day management of outreach to volunteers through email advocacy campaigns and personal outreach to volunteers. Oversee administration, logistical support, coordination, and execution of advocacy opportunities for the WWP Alumni, including volunteer development and coaching, formal recognition, and annual performance reviews.
