REGIONAL BEREAVEMENT COORDINATOR - Liberty Health : Job Details

Administer a planned bereavement program in a regional area. Provide bereavement services to assist the patient, family and other individuals in coping with grief/bereavement in an organized program. Provide organization of planned bereavement programs in regional offices. Training of staff for providing bereavement/grief support to families and providing care to bereaved through program plan. Provide statistical reporting and appropriate documentation in bereavement care. Accountable in coordinating outreach and support for bereavement care and support in community and contracted facilities. Other job duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum requirement is a bachelors degree in human services field such as social work, psychology, counseling or related field with experience and education in death and dying and the grief process. Master s Degree preferred. Experience in group facilitation and support intervention. Knowledge of the signs of grief symptoms and process.
