Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:The Associate Director of Development, Regional Advancement is a critical role within the University's fundraising team, reporting to the Senior Director of Development for Regional Advancement. This position is responsible for driving the University's philanthropic efforts by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts of $100,000 or more, as well as contributions to the George Eastman Circle when appropriate.The Associate Director will support the University's strategic priorities and initiatives by working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across University Advancement, leadership, faculty, staff, and volunteers. The role involves developing tailored strategies to engage donors, soliciting contributions, and ensuring proper stewardship to foster lasting relationships with alumni and other benefactors.Managing a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects, the Associate Director is expected to conduct at least 125 donor visits annually to meet engagement and solicitation goals. This role requires extensive travel throughout the United States to build meaningful connections with prospects and donors.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate, a commitment to achieving results, and a deep understanding of gift fundraising practices.
