Refrigeration Tech - Butterball, LLC : Job Details

Essential Duties, Functions, and responsibilities:Provide routine inspections of all temperature logs, ammonia detection alarms and general refrigeration operating systems. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations with proper supervision. Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concerns. Maintain inventory control on parts and supplies for refrigeration systems. Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and plant facilities. Supervise/direct all refrigeration contractor tasks. Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelines. Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled.
