The Harm Reduction Research Lab at the University of Arizona is seeking a part-time Reflective Supervision Consultant to provide clinical supervision services to Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) counselors and staff as part of a national clinical trial.
The MPACT (Methadone Patient Access to Collaborative Treatment) is an experimental multimodal staff-level intervention aimed at promoting the adoption of low barrier, standard-of-care methadone treatment among OTP staff to improve patient outcomes. The intervention seeks to reduce staff posttraumatic stress and work-related (vicarious) trauma, based on preliminary studies (1, 2) conducted by the MPACT team in the Harm Reduction Research Lab at the University of Arizona (Meyerson PI, R61/33 funding by NIDA).
Reflective Supervision Consultation (RSC) has been adapted for OTPs as an MPACT component offered during the national MPACT trial.
Application instructions and the complete Request for Bid to provide RSC consultation can be accessed here.
