Recycling / Line Lead - Minnesota Staffing : Job Details

Twin City Staffing is hiring a dependable line lead to oversee material sorters at a busy recycling facility. Location: Chaska, MN

Wage: Starting at $21+/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday Friday, 1st Shift, 7:00 am 3:30 pm

Duties of the recycling/line lead:

• Supervise and motivate a team of material sorters to meet daily production goals
• Monitor sorting line operations to ensure proper separation of recyclables (plastics, metals, cardboard, paper)
• Train new employees on sorting procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use
• Enforce safety guidelines and PPE compliance at all times
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed
• Track production data, quality control results, and report discrepancies to management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Communicate shift updates, production targets, and safety concerns to the team and management
• Promote teamwork, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment

Requirements of the recycling/line lead:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a dusty, cold environment
• Able to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong safety focus and dependable transportation
• Able to pass E-Verify and a background check
