The Recruitment Specialist performs highly responsible entry level professional work in supporting the Citys Human Resources Office. This position coordinates the employment process from attending job fairs, posting job advertisements, reviewing applications for minimum requirements, scheduling interviews, serving on interview committees, reviewing interview scores, drafting requests for pay approvals, drafting offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating new employee orientation. An employee in this class has specialized duties within or across assigned human resources functional units, which require the application of professional and administrative knowledge. An employee in this class exercises independent judgment and has some latitude in performing duties. Work is evaluated through results attained and by manager overseeing assigned functional unit.
