Child Focus is seeking a Recruiting Specialist / HR Generalist to support the agency in finding highly qualified candidates to join our team. We are looking for an energetic team player to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. The Recruiting Specialist will create a positive experience when connecting with potential candidates online and offline. They will be responsible for screening applications and supporting hiring managers. The specialist will serve as the go-between for candidates and hiring managers, and coordinating the hiring process end-to-end. The Recruiting Specialist will play a key role in the new hire onboarding and orientation process. This position will be integral to supporting new employees throughout their first 90 days, including coordinating orientation schedules and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. The Recruiting Specialist will also be responsible for developing onboarding trainings and ensuring each new hire has a successful and engaging orientation experience.The Recruiting Specialist will additionally support the HR department with generalist duties as assigned.The Recruiting Specialist must possess, strong interpersonal skills, high level of initiative and ability to connect well with others. The specialist will also be required to have organizational skills, good written and verbal communications, and the ability to problem solve independently. Additional job duties will include:Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plansTrack hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hireCreate and publish job ads in various portalsHost and participate in job fairsNetwork with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during eventsCollaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employeesScreen resumes and job applicationsConduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidatesDesign, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveysFollow up with candidates throughout the hiring processMaintain a database of potential candidates for future job openingsRequirementsLocation: 4629 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45244Required Degree: High School Diploma with related experiencePreferred Degree: Associates Degree with proven Recruiting / HR Generalist experienceSalary $40,000Salary Description $40,000
