Reporting to Talent Acquisition leadership, the Recruiting Representative will serve as the candidate's primary point of contact during the early recruitment stages particularly in sourcing, screening and interview scheduling activities. This role is responsible for the recruitment support and administration efforts of Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, talent acquisition endeavors. The representative will administer the recruitment process in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Supports and administers the successful execution of the candidate experience in the sourcing, screening and interview portions of the candidate lifecycle.2. Is responsible for the movement of the high-volume candidate pipeline in the applicant tracking system. Actively participates in sourcing, recruiting, monitoring and assisting candidates through the applicant process.3. Represents the enterprise and Talent Acquisition at Job Fairs, internal recruitment events, recruitment center activities, and community partnership events.4. Is responsible for the accurate and timely transition of qualified candidates to the Recruiters while providing reporting and metrics.5. Identifies opportunities for improvement within the sourcing, screening and hand-off processes of the candidate lifecycle.6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required.* Minimum three (3) years of experience with administrative functions and customer service with focus on scheduling and outreach via phone.* Minimum one (1) year in HR, Gaming, Hospitality, Retail or Services industry is preferred.* Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)* Proficiency working with ATS preferably Workday.* Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, and other sourcing databases.* Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.* Must be able to effectively communicate with business partners and stakeholders in both oral and written form.* Possesses the ability to relate well to wide variety of personalities.* Strong consultative skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.* Strong analytical skills, solid strategic thinking, and ability to work in a team environment.REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS* At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.* Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS - ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting.* Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.* Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.* Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.* Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time.
