I. Job Profile

Job Title: RecruiterDepartment: HR DepartmentDirect Supervisor: Recruiting & Staffing ManagerDirect Subordinates: None

II. Job Summary:

Assist in building the recruiting process and team. Develop relationships with Hiring Managers to identify future staffing needs. Attract high-quality candidates through various sources such as social media, job boards, networking, employee referrals, and others. Coordinate the hiring process by screening, interviewing, and assessing top candidates.

III. Job Functions and Duties

NO. Representative Duties

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy and continually improve the process.
  • Understand job descriptions and specifications to create effective job postings.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs on appropriate job boards or colleges.
  • Source and recruit candidates via databases, social media, networking, etc.
  • Screen resumes and applications.
  • Conduct interviews using reliable recruiting tools/methods within schedule.
  • Assess candidates' knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Negotiate offers and promote company values and benefits to candidates.
  • Facilitate pre-employment processes and assist with onboarding.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and documented recruiting reports.
  • Act as a point of contact and build relationships with candidates during selection.
  • Promote the company's reputation as a top place to work (Employment Branding).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • IV. Qualifications

    Language: Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.

    Experience: Minimum 2 years in recruiting, either corporate or staffing/firms.

    Education: BS/BA in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.

    Physical Condition: Ability to sit/stand for long periods, extensive computer use.

    Other Requirements

    Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills.

    Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving skills.

    Computer Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing software.

    Knowledge & Skills: Behavioral and competency-based interviewing, sourcing passive candidates, decision-making, communication, relationship-building, organization, planning, HR policies, and training.

    V. Work Environment

    Bright, clean office; occasional exposure to heat; moderate noise; safety gear includes glasses and steel-toed shoes.

    VI. Key Performance Indicators

    Shift: 1st shift.

    Age: Must be 18 or older.
