The Department of Social Services (DSS) includes the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS). HRA aims to fight poverty and income inequality by providing essential benefits, while DHS works to prevent and address homelessness.
Human Resources Solutions (HRS) supports the HR needs of DSS, HRA, and DHS, fostering an inclusive and motivated workforce.
We are recruiting for one (1) Principal Administrative Associate III to serve as a Recruiter, responsible for:
Initiating tracking and work processes in recruitment; ensuring candidate actions are completed.Reviewing recruitment requests, writing, and issuing postings, and entering them into NYCAPS.Collaborating with the Director of Recruitment Strategies on external recruitment resources.Reviewing resumes, pre-qualifying applicants, and ensuring minimum qualifications are met.Working with HRBP to secure appropriate salaries and completing NYCAPS documentation.Submitting Ticket Change Notices (TCNs) using CPS and maintaining pre-onboarding documentation.Facilitating candidate processing, reviewing e-hire packs, and forwarding completed packages.Maintaining administrative controls to ensure timely actions.Engaging with other agencies and candidates for collateral information and representation at recruitment events.Preparing management reports on recruitment status and diversity initiatives.Advising HRBP team on DCAS rules and regulations, maintaining communication with hiring managers.Work Location: 4 World Trade Center, New York, NY
Hours/Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Position Title: Principal Administrative Associate - 10124
Minimum Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree with three years of full-time clerical/administrative experience, including supervisory experience, OR
- Associate degree or 60 college credits with four years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, OR
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, OR
- Equivalent education/experience with at least one year of supervisory experience. Education may substitute for experience at a rate of 30 credits = 6 months, up to 3.5 years.
