Starting Salary: $25-$27 per hour

Employment Type: Non-Exempt

Work Environment: This position is based in an office and manufacturing facility environment, where the office is climate-controlled, while the manufacturing area may involve exposure to dirt, dust, and temperature fluctuations. Noise levels are usually moderate, though there is occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Job Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting and executing recruitment strategies, managing the recruitment process for their areas and requisitions, and providing guidance and support to our hiring teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully recruiting for a variety of positions in the manufacturing industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner

Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for their areas and requisitions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding

Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop strategies to meet those needs

Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks, providing feedback to applicants

Develop job postings and manage job boards for respective areas and requisitions

Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular updates to the team

Participate in recruitment-related events, such as job fairs, to promote the company

Maintain accurate records and documentation of hiring processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management or a related field

1-2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems and other recruitment-related software

Knowledge of employment laws and best practices

Additional Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Able to multitask and prioritize effectively

Physical Demands:

Travel:

This role does not require travel to any Woodgrain location.
