Recreation Therapist, Inpatient Rehab Program, Per Diem - Burke Rehabilitation Hospital : Job Details

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a per diem Recreational Therapist (CTRS Required) to join its dynamic Therapeutic Recreation Department. Burke is an in-patient facility in White Plains, NY treating patients with neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic and amputee diagnoses. The Recreational Therapist is an essential clinical member of the therapy team and will be primarily responsible for initial evaluations and treating patients. The job entails one to two Sundays/month for 5 to 6 hours as well as coverage during vacations as available. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required at the time of hire. **As of April 24, 2025, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital strongly recommends that all employees receive the COVID-19 vaccine to support the health and safety of our patients and staff.
