Recreation Specialist - City of Casselberry Florida : Job Details

The Recreation Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Casselberry Recreation Center, all parks and recreational activities, events and camps. In addition, the Recreation Specialist will assist in weekend and nighttime activities such as events and checking parks and buildings. Work is performed under direct supervision of the Recreation Programs and Events Supervisor. The Recreation Specialist performs work independently within established policies and procedures. Examples of Essential Functions Provides support with the daily operations of the Recreation Programs and Events area. (90%)Assists with recreation programming inside the Recreation Center, parks and other city properties. Assists with rentals on nights and weekends ranging from sporting events to events inside buildings. Works with other city workers to make sure parks and buildings are ready to be reused and for the next days activities.
