Position Summary: The purpose of the Recreation Facility Attendant is to monitor and assist with the operation of the facility, programs and events and implement related practices and procedures. Often responsible for opening and closing of facility before and after rental and set up and take down of tables, chairs, and/or equipment. Supervise rental groups. Ensure safety of patrons during operation of facility. This position is required to adhere to all Waukegan Park District (District) policies and procedures. Essential Functions: Demonstrates good customer service in communicating with rental groups/patrons. Answers customer inquiries or directs to appropriate staff as necessary. Receives payment for admission or parking fees. Assists with and follows parking procedures as outlined by supervisor.
