Recreation Aide - GREAT LAKES COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP : Job Details

Assist in providing daily supervision of youth. Assist in enforcing safety rules and procedures in compliance with Ohio Department of Job and Family Services licensing rules. Assist in coordinating recreational and youth development activities for students. Assist teachers during homework assistance and tutoring time, as needed. Assist with data collection and record keeping. Assist in preparing and maintaining program materials. Model appropriate behavior for youth at all times. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in the team process, both within the department and the corporation. Attend internal and external meetings. Pursue continuous education and professional development opportunities. Out-of-town travel with occasional overnight stays. May occasionally be required to work in excess of scheduled work hours per week in order to fulfill position requirements. Overtime must be pre-approved by supervisor.
