Key Responsibilities:

· Build trusting relationships with individuals in recovery to provide mentorship, encouragement, and navigation through systems of care.

· Assist individuals in creating recovery plans and identifying goals related to health, wellness, housing, employment, and social connectedness.

· Provide linkages to services such as treatment providers, recovery housing, healthcare, social services, and peer support groups.

· Collaborate with clinical teams, community partners, and local agencies including courts, detox centers, shelters, hospitals, and community programs to support client care.

· Support individuals in accessing and understanding MassHealth, DTA, DMH, SSA, and other benefits or entitlements.

· Accompany individuals to appointments and advocate with or on behalf of them when needed.

· Document services, progress, and referrals in a timely and accurate manner according to program standards and funding requirements.

· Maintain healthy boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

· Participate in regular supervision, trainings, and team meetings to enhance practice and professional growth.

· Promote Montachusett Recovery Center's values of dignity, inclusion, hope, and community empowerment.

Qualifications:

· A four-year or higher education degree in human services, psychology, or related field required.

· Must be in personal recovery for at least 2 years and have a strong understanding of recovery principles and pathways.

· Familiarity with the North Central Massachusetts recovery ecosystem is preferred.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Comfort with technology and electronic record-keeping.

· Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license for field-based work.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certification as a Recovery Coach in Massachusetts by the MBSACC preferred (or willingness to obtain).

· Bilingual in English/Spanish or another language.

· Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

· Experience working with individuals affected by substance use, mental health challenges, or incarceration is strongly valued.

Work Environment:

· Office-based and community outreach setting.

· Some travel required for home visits, community meetings, or appointments.
