This is a PART TIME position - 18 hours per week. Applicants must be able to work the following schedule:
Week 1 Sunday 3:30p-9p Tuesday 3:30p-9p Thursday 3:30p-9p
Week 2 Tuesday 3:30p-9p Thursday 3:30p-9p Saturday 3:30p-9p
The weekend requirement is every other weekend; rotation is included in the set schedule, approx. 2 weekends per month.
Job Summary
Operates multiple-call telephone and directs calls to the appropriate person or department. Greets patients, visitors, vendors, and other guests. Ensures that visitors are properly badged and escorted to the correct office. Maintains pertinent telephone and visitor records. Performs routine clerical tasks such as light typing or related duties. This position does not involve patient care.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Experience receptionist experience 0-1 year preferred. Licenses and Credentials: None required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer skills (Microsoft Office), strong follow-up and resolution, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, strong patient/customer service skills, willingness to learn new software systems and technology, and ability to adapt actions in relation to others actions.
