At Team Recovery, the purpose of the Receptionist is to ensure the facility is operating efficiently and professionally.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirements: 1+ years in a medical office setting.
License Requirements: None
Job Duties Include:
- Coordinate and lead the onboarding process for all new employees. Act as the liaison between HR and the new employees.
- Maintain communication with vendors and properly manage vendor relations.
- Inventory and order supplies for the facility including, but not limited to, operations, office and janitorial supplies.
- Maintain clinical records forms, such as daily group sign-in sheets. Prepare and provide these forms for clinical staff.
- Clean and organize the lobby, intake room, conference room dining area, and common area hallways.
- Ensure staff restrooms are stocked.
- Greet and Welcome ALL visitors. Ensure they are properly signed in and procedures in place are followed.
- Coordinate all shipping and receiving (incoming and outgoing mail). Ensure the packages or mail gets to the correct department.
- Assist with intakes as needed.
- Must follow all defined company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Participate in all staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
- Always maintain professional demeanor.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage patients.
- Monitor incoming faxes and distribute to appropriate staff.
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by Director of Operations.
- Monitor and manage company vehicle log, binders and keys, verifying proper procedure has been followed.
- Protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with the organization's privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a health care provider. Failure to comply with the organization's policies and procedures on patient privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
- May access protected health information (PHI) and other patent information only to the extent that is necessary to complete your job duties. The incumbent may only share such information with those who have a need-to-know specific patient information you have in your possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other company operations.
- Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding company policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
- Obtain at least one Google review from a client per day.
