A well-established financial services firm is seeking a polished and professional Temporary Receptionist to support their Stamford office. Position Overview

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping to maintain a welcoming and organized office environment. This role supports the facilities team and other administrative staff and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and screen visitors professionally and courteously
  • Manage front desk operations and assist administrative staff
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Support facilities team with vendor coordination and project assistance
  • Maintain inventory and organize supply rooms
  • Order and restock kitchen supplies
  • Ensure common areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Handle basic Outlook tasks (email and calendar scheduling)
  • Multitask and manage various situations calmly and efficiently

Qualifications

  • 24 years of receptionist or front desk experience in a corporate setting
  • Strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle stress and remain composed under pressure
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude
  • Basic proficiency in Outlook
  • Friendly, approachable, and well-spoken
  • High standards for presentation and professionalism
  • Potential to grow into an Executive Assistant role
