We are currently looking for a Full Time Receptionist to join our Area of Child Development team located at the Child Development Center - Purcell working 7:30AM-4:30PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr. Summary: Responsibilities: * Maintains all children's records/files to verify all documentation is received * Maintains daily attendance reports * Monitors/ updates immunization records for children * Monitors or records all childcare application received * Maintains all paperwork for assigned area (e.g. medication logs, staff logs, incident reports, etc.) * Answers the phone, transfers call, takes messages and screens calls per guidelines for areas served * Ensures enrollment packets are accessible, and copies are kept on site * Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types - Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner - Greets and engages with a smile - Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes * Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities * Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types - Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment - Maintains and promotes professionalism - Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics - Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards * Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc. * Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: * Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Must be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately * Must be detail-oriented * Ability to work independently * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines * Knowledge and understanding of First American populations * Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures * Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Skills: Essential: * Basic Computer skills * Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience: Nonessential: * 1 year directly related experience Education: Essential: * High School, GED or Equivalent Essential: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be knowledgeable in Excel and Word and be familiar with tribal child development policies. Credentials: Essential: * Pass general background check * Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) * Standard Driver's License * First Aid Certification Essential: * Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 10 days of employment, promotion or transfer date Working Conditions: Essential: * Works in an office setting * Computers, printers, phones * Communications phone, computer * Interacts with young children * Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach * Use computer up to 25% of shift * Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs * Pass pre-employment drug test
