Salary/Hourly Rate: $21/hr - $23/hr Depending on experience Position Overview: The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients, attorneys, and staff, ensuring smooth communication and daily operations. This is a great opportunity for a Receptionist with strong administrative skills who enjoys being the face of a professional team. Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
- Greet clients, visitors, and legal staff courteously and professionally.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate attorneys and departments.
- Manage front desk scheduling, inboxes, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Maintain conference room calendars and coordinate meetings and legal appointments.
- Ensure reception and shared areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Distribute mail, receive packages, and assist with courier and legal filings.
- Support attorneys and office administrators with light clerical tasks and document handling.
- Prepare visitor badges and coordinate with building security when needed.
- Represent the Receptionist team during internal meetings, events, or client visits.
- Take on additional administrative and legal support tasks as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a Receptionist or administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal services environment.
- Familiarity with legal terminology or front-desk operations in a professional services firm.
- Experience with platforms like Outlook Calendars, Zoom, or Slack.
