Receptionist - South Shore Kia : Job Details

Position Overview South Shore Kia is seeking a courteous and organized Service Department Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our service department. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless experience for our service and sales customers by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Compensation

• $17-$20 per hour (based on experience)
• Full-time position available
• Saturday availability is required

Key Responsibilities

• Greet service customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate personnel or area.
• Answer and manage incoming service-related phone calls and emails, including scheduling appointments and providing general information.
• Maintain accurate and organized service appointment schedules.
• Process customer payments and provide receipts for service transactions.
• Schedule, contract and process loaner vehicles
• Handle basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining service department records.
• Communicate professionally with customers to ensure their questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Keep the service waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with refreshments as needed.
• Assist the service advisors and department staff with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in customer service or a receptionist role preferred (automotive experience is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using computer systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be available to work on Saturdays.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus
• X-Time experience is a plus
