Location New York NY Job Type Direct Hire/Permanent Date Posted Posted 3 Weeks ago Receptionist CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our NYC based client in their search for a Receptionist in New York City, NY. The Receptionist will be part of the administrative team, serving as a first point of contact for employees and guests. This role will be responsible for various administrative duties, including but not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors, booking and preparing conference rooms, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and ordering office supplies. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This will be a client facing role; a professional presence and skills will be necessary for success in this role. This role will be fulltime on-site in the NYC office, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities/Requirements
  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department and provide necessary information or assistance.
  • Answering incoming calls, screen, and direct them to the appropriate department/individuals.
  • Manage the reception area, including keeping it clean and tidying and ensuring that reading materials are available.
  • Scheduling and maintaining of office conference rooms.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment including kitchen and all common area spaces.
  • Monitor and ordering of office supplies, ensuring that inventory is well stocked and replenished as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors for office, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Manage office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telecommunication systems and arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary.
  • Ensure that Office policies and procedures are followed by all staff members.
  • Sort and distribute all mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate recipients.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, and package for shipment through postal or courier services and bringing to post office if required.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by a senior member of the company.
  • Assist with organizing, coordinating Company events and meetings.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years' experience in and administrative/receptionist role or related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
