Under general supervision, performs routine clerical and administrative support duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Follows detailed instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. MISSION, VALUES & SERVICE GOALS

Key ResponsibilitiesClerical Duties
  • Type and prepare a variety of letters, forms, reports, charts, and records using computer systems.
  • Prepare and maintain files, manuals, and packets; create labels; index and organize information.
  • Gather and post standard data; retrieve reports, charts, and copies to complete files.
  • Operate standard office equipment (computer, calculator, photocopier, fax machine) and other assigned tools.
  • Organize and maintain records for review.
  • Photocopy, deliver, and/or pick up materials as needed.
Department Support
  • Perform additional clerical tasks or special projects as assigned to support departmental operations.
Organizational Responsibilities
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings; remain accountable for shared information.
  • Complete all mandatory education, annual competencies, and department-specific training within required timeframes.
  • Fulfill annual employee health requirements as scheduled.
  • Maintain required licenses, certifications, and registrations in good standing throughout the fiscal year.
  • (If applicable) Maintain current BCLS/CPR and other certifications as required for the position/department.
  • Follow universal precautions, use appropriate protective equipment, and apply ergonomic practices.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, survey processes, and organizational compliance.
  • Support departmental needs by working additional or varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum age requirement: 17 years.
  • Six to twelve months of clerical experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment relevant to assigned duties.
  • Strong keyboarding skills for timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • General office skills, including filing, recordkeeping, and data entry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse internal and external contacts.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
Physical Demands
  • Must possess the physical ability and stamina necessary to perform essential job functions.
