Receiving Operator - burton + BURTON : Job Details

We are currently expanding our Receiving department and looking to hire an experienced Receiving Operator with a solid work history.

In this role, you will become an integral part of our team, responsible for receiving, consolidating and shelving merchandise, and distributing product to the Stocking department.

Essential job functions:

• Assists with the unloading of incoming product containers; verifies the amount received with the packing list.
• Consolidates merchandise from one location to another in a manner that efficiently utilizes storage space in the warehouse; maintains required documentation of work performed; correctly enters and removes bulk merchandise locations with UNIX system.
• While operating a stock picker and using pull lists, delivers pulled product to the appropriate bulk/bin locations.

Minimum education and experience requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English
• Proficient in general computer keyboarding
• Requires a driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a DOT exam
