Receiving Associate - Habitat for Humanity : Job Details

Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide superior customer service and interact positively with donors and customers.Promptly returning calls from prospective donors and scheduling donation pick-ups.Assisting with direct sales calls to businesses and contractors in Chaffee County.Screening donations from individuals who want to donate materialsReceiving donations from individuals at the designated drop-off siteCreating efficient pick-up schedules and routes for the ReStore Truck Driver.Scheduling and coordinating pick-ups from the donor to CCHFH ReStoreMaking pick-ups to selected businesses and donorsFollow all store policies and procedures.Secondary ResponsibilitiesScheduling and coordinating the maintenance of the ReStore vehiclesEnsure that all ReStore vehicles meet all CODOT regulations.Report on progress for quarterly reports and data as requested by managementCompile all donation receipts to individual recordsRequisite SkillsAble to work independently and under supervision.Experience with construction or building materials/hardware preferred.Routing/scheduling and/or logistics experience preferred Ability to project a friendly and positive image of Habitat for HumanityComfort with making cold calls in person and by phoneAttention to detail and able work with numbers.Knowledge of Habitat for Humanity - Chaffee County a plusKnowledge of fair market values of new and used building materials.Superior customer service skills.Able to supervise volunteers with a wide range of skills and abilitiesGood computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Office.
