Weichert Co. of Virginia is hiring a Real Estate Instructor in Loudoun, VA.

The Real Estate Instructor is responsible for teaching state-regulated real estate pre-licensing courses, providing the education necessary to prepare students for the Virginia pre-licensing exams.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for delivering the required intellectual material for successful completion of the Virginia pre-licensing courses.

Accurately completing class records to document compliance with state real estate commissions.

Following lesson plans, leading classroom discussions on relevant topics, and educating students regarding real estate principles and practices.

Providing information regarding licensing and answering students' questions.

Maintaining a positive learning environment and classroom control at all times.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate requirements:

• Possess a Virginia pre-license education instructor certification.
• Either a Bachelor's degree, VA brokers' license, and two (2) consecutive years of active real estate experience immediately before application, or
• An active VA brokers' license and five (5) consecutive years of real estate experience immediately before application.

Experience levels are defined by state statutory requirements, outlined in the Education, Certification, and License Requirements section. Additionally, candidates should have:

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Zoom.
• In-depth knowledge of national and state-specific real estate principles and practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct presentations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
