RCM Systems Specialist - QUINCY MEDICAL GROUP : Job Details

OverviewLocation: Quincy, IL Pay Range: $25.00 - $37.50 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday | Daytime hours About the Role: As an RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Systems Specialist at Quincy Medical Group, you'll be the key connection between our billing team and the technology we use-especially our Epic system. You'll help make sure patient billing, insurance claims, and payment processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems, and helping teams improve how they do their work. You'll help fix billing issues, find ways to improve our workflows, and support our team with training and system updates. If you're detail-oriented, like digging into the why behind system problems, and enjoy helping others succeed, this could be a great fit. Primary Responsibilities:

• Help document and improve how our billing team uses Epic and other systems
• Keep up with system or regulatory changes and adjust workflows as needed
• Monitor insurance claims and payment processes to make sure everything flows correctly
• Track and fix billing errors, including those rejected by insurance companies
• Work closely with different departments to make sure claims are handled correctly and on time
• Support staff with training, questions, or system issues
• Attend meetings and share updates with leadership
• Assist with special projects and system upgrades
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with billing systems-Epic experience strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical team members
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Epic Professional Billing certification is a plus but not required
