RAN Lab Test Engineer - NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company : Job Details

This role provides hands-on exposure to the latest 4G/5G radio products and the opportunity to work directly with Ericsson and T-Mobile during new product introduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE/5G technology into customer lab facilities and early market applications.
• Demonstrate new SW/HW functionality and capabilities.
• Support proof-of-concept testing for pre-commercial radio access products.
• Work on Ericsson's BBU (Baseband Units) and Radios across various bands/technologies.
• Collaborate with development, customer units, and customers to resolve issues.
• Define scope, resource plans, and timelines with CPMs and customers.
• Conduct lab testing, troubleshooting, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and deliver feature test reports for customer acceptance.
• Contribute to test automation projects to accelerate validation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with LTE/5G RAN integration and testing.
• Hands-on expertise with Ericsson BBU and Radio products (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with customer acceptance processes in telecom.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting is a plus.
