We have an exciting opportunity for a Ramp Safety Officer to join our DO&CO Family at our New York Unit.

Responsibilities:

* Support the coordination of transportation activities between main production site, logistics unit and airport and ensure on time delivery of high-quality products, goods and services.

* Plan, forecast, schedule, and communicate transportation activities.

* Ensure smooth and efficient operations, supply chain management.

* Train employees on ramp safety SOPs as well as motivate the team members and supervise them.

Who you are:

* Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field.

* Excellent planning and coordination skills.

* Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR 1542.209).

* Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills.

* Dedication to customer service and attention to detail.

* Solution seeker personality and effective decision maker.

* Hands-on mentality.

* Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
