Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Rail Site Manager, located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Rail Site Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, manage staff, and coordinate maintenance and repair activities. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervision, performance evaluation, inventory control, and liaising with clients to meet their needs and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Management experience, especially in rail or transportation industries
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and inventory management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
  • Problem-solving skills and proficiency in handling maintenance and repair operations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in logistics or site management is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Omaha, NE

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
  • Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
