Talent4health is seeking a “Radiologic Technician” contract position with a client in Ithaca, New York, United States.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Positioning and Imaging: Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. This includes performing routine radiographic procedures and assisting with fluoroscopic procedures such as barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, hysterosalpingograms, trauma cases, and various operating room procedures.
• Radiation Safety: Implement the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate imaging equipment proficiently and perform routine maintenance checks. Assist with quality assurance tasks, including daily, weekly, and monthly equipment evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• License REQ: An active ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography required
• Certs REQ: BLS - Basic Life Support

Pay range and compensation package:

• Weekly gross: $2,153.00
• Non-Taxable stipend/wk.: $1,568.00
• Taxable/hr.: $16.25 (36 hours)
