POSITION SUMMARY

Your role as a Radiology Imaging Technologist will be to deliver high-quality imaging services to patients and physicians in a respectful and efficient manner while ensuring a safe and clean environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education/Training

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology with accreditation through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; compliance with CE requirements is essential.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Workplace Experience

• One year of hospital experience post-graduation and accreditation is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with the right attitude.

Equipment and Skills Training

• Possess a general understanding of various x-ray equipment and computers; training will be provided on specific equipment used at Williamson Health.
• Previous experience in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies is beneficial with a willingness to perform these tasks daily.

Physical Environment

• Adhere to radiation safety and universal precautions in a multi-modality imaging department.

Physical Effort

• Ability to perform a variety of tasks, including operating equipment, assisting patients in mobility, lifting up to 20 pounds, and communicating effectively.
• Exhibit good judgment in urgent situations and maintain emotional stability in interactions with all stakeholders.
