Radiology Aide - Mass General Brigham : Job Details

Responsible for assisting radiology technologists and radiologists with various tasks, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, and providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients during imaging procedures. Essential Functions:-Greet and prepare patients for radiology procedures, explaining the imaging process and answering any questions they may have. -Prepare and arrange radiology equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound devices, for imaging procedures. -Help position patients correctly on the imaging table or in the appropriate standing/sitting position to obtain clear and accurate images. -Assist radiology technologists with image processing tasks, such as labeling and organizing digital images, and transferring them to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). -Assist in transporting patients to and from the radiology department, ensuring their safety and comfort during ...Radiology, Aide, Radiology Tech, Healthcare, Patient
