Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a float-style travel assignment. This position involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and C-arm work, across various shifts while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures with minimal discomfort to patients.
- Explain procedures and assist patients throughout the imaging process.
- Operate imaging equipment using ALARA principles and safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC, RIS, and PACS systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and fellow technologists for seamless workflow.
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and maintaining work area cleanliness and supply stock.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment issues appropriately.
Required Skills & Experience:
- One year of clinical or student clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and emergencies.
Preferred:
- Fluoro and C-arm experience.
- One year of recent hands-on experience in diagnostic radiology.
Education:
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
Licensure & Certifications:
- ARRT Registered RT(R)
- Wisconsin Radiographer License (active)
- AHA BLS Certification (or equivalent)
