Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment and ensure accurate setup, imaging, and dosage delivery.
- Monitor patient responses and maintain detailed treatment records.
- Follow strict safety and infection control procedures in all treatment areas.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physicists, and other oncology professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
- State of Oregon license in Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (or eligible with certification required within 6 months of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- High school diploma with completion of a 24-month course in radiation therapy or a college-level radiation therapy program.
- Up to five years of continuous employment in radiation therapy accepted; new grads welcome.
Preferred Qualifications:
