Prefer experience with O-arm but can train. Must be experienced with portables and fluoroscopy. Description: The department consists of 7 treatment areas. The technologist will cover inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER areas. Common types of imaging performed include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. There is a high volume of cases in the operating room and emergency department, as well as fluoroscopy procedures. The normal workload includes 70-80 scans per day plus 5-15 OR cases per day. The department utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and PACS. Department-specific equipment includes OEC C-arms, Metrionics O-arm, Fuji general, portable Fuji, and Siemens fluoro. A supervisor or coordinator is present on the day shift. Radiologists are in-house Monday through Friday with after-hours images sent to teleradiology. The position does not require the starting of IVs. Shifts are scheduled with variable start times from 0600 to 1130 for days and 1900-0700 for nights. Weekday call is required for 1-2 days a week after shifts. Weekend call is every third weekend, with an average call response time of 20-30 minutes. The dress code requires provided scrubs. Unit-specific orientation lasts 1.5 to 2 weeks, which includes clinical and EPIC training. The team fosters a family feel and works collaboratively. RTO needs to be submitted upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions. Cancellation policy includes up to 4 shifts per contract. The care setting is acute with a trauma level of 2. Shift notes include coverage for both 8-hour days and some 11-7:30 PM shifts. One weekend a month may consist of a night shift on Saturday or Sunday.
