R&T Lab Technician - HEXCEL CORPORATION : Job Details

Fabricating composite test panels. Working safely around equipment at elevated temperatures (hot press, ovens, autoclaves). Analyzing composite materials with microscopy, thermal analysis techniques, and other analytical techniques. Collecting data and preparing reports. Performing routine and basic statistical calculations as necessary. Mixing resins in a laboratory setting and preforming routine laboratory tasks. Writing clear, concise operating procedures/instructions (i.e. SOPs). Performing special assignments assisting other technicians or engineers on project work. Maintaining departmental files, logs, and records of past experiments and/or tests for future references. Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and ensuring lab equipment are in acceptable order. Qualifications:High School diploma required with two years related experience and/or training; 2-4 years of college in related discipline and 2 years of related experience preferred.
