Job SummaryWe're hiring a Research & Development Technician who is a creative thinker with the ability to innovate and develop new product ideas, concepts and processes. Will lead small to medium - sized projects focused on developing and introducing new molded plastics products, while ensuring quality and reliability standards are met.What Success Looks Like / Key ResponsibilitiesInnovate and develop new product ideas, concepts and processesManage all internal and external testingPerform analyses and comparisons of specifications and test results to contribute to technical and product innovationDevelop prototypes corresponding to requests and projectsPrepare and maintain all project documentationStay thoroughly abreast of competitive and industry trends, customer needs and other relevant dataRecommend product changes that improve product positioning, margin, quality and reliabilitySupport the master data team by providing the necessary BOM construction and specifications (including engineering drawings) to be used for new and revised product requests within SalesforceAbility to simultaneously manage several projects in a fast paced environment while ensuring key deliverables are metEnsures all projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with established policies, procedures and objectivesWork Environment This job operates in a professional office and production plant environment.TravelLimited travel required.
