Together, we break through – as R&D Manager Project Engineering (all genders)

The R&D Manager Project Engineering will be responsible for capital strategy vision and master plan development, while driving the capital long-range plan program, managing the annual capital plan, and ensuring financial compliance. Additionally, you will lead a team of engineers to implement facilities, utilities, and equipment capital projects.

Make your mark:

  • Provide daily leadership to the Project Engineering department, including personnel management, training, organizational structure, and project management.
  • Lead the project strategic planning for the next fiscal year's capital plan and oversee the annual site capital plan and department budget.
  • Deliver capital plan last best estimates (LBE) as per the established frequency by finance and project accounting.
  • Prioritize projects and take responsibility for achieving financial targets of projects and capital plans in support of business objectives and lifecycle costs.
  • Manage asset management, project lifecycle, and energy sustainability programs.
  • Drive the site capital long-range plan from development to submission.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements and promote continuous improvement, considering EHS aspects during project design and changes.
Qualifikationen

This is how you make a difference:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a closely related discipline with at least 8 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
  • Experience in an engineering leadership role within the biopharma industry, with demonstrated technical contributions and accomplishments, is advantageous.
  • Ability to interact, advise, and communicate effectively with Senior Management and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to listen to and understand others' points of view and articulate one's own perspective tactfully and respectfully, orally, in writing, and in presentations.
  • Strong technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures, especially when working on complex problems involving multiple factors.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and fiscal control.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Outlook), AutoCAD, SAP, among others.
  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
