Our client, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking an R&D Manager to join their team. As an R&D Manager, you will be part of the New Product Development department supporting innovative product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: R&D ManagerLocation: Eastlake, OhioPay Range: $110,000 - $135,000What's the Job?

• Manage and lead the R&D Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Drive the team to achieve New Product Development project deliverables, timelines, and launch requirements.
• Contribute to the development of R&D strategies that align with company objectives.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing phases of new product development, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into actionable product concepts.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the packaging industry, particularly in food and/or beverage.
• Proven track record in New Product Development and phase/gate project management launches.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
