Job Description

This R&D Engineering Supervisor will report into senior leadership within the Research & Development team and key project stakeholders and will:

  • Lead daily operations for R&D manufacturing and process development.
  • Supervise and mentor a small technical team.
  • Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and testing issues.
  • Develop new processes, procedures, and equipment improvements.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate cross-functional deliverables.
  • Use data to enhance process control and performance.
  • Support internal projects, materials testing, and technical reporting.
  • Train and guide less experienced team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D Engineering Supervisor should have:

  • Leadership experience in manufacturing or R&D.
  • Hands-on process development and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and materials engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
  • Experience managing technical teams.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
