Aggregate demand in customer Request for Quote RFQs and attain detailed costing information for all piece parts for all facilities. Establish channels to obtain low-cost pricing for each facility for sheet metal, cables and other custom unique parts best sourced locally. Establish channels to obtain low-cost pricing internationally where appropriate. Establish corporate arrangements for PCB s, sheet metal, plastics, etc. to drive PPV and competitive pricing. Re-quote all major customers quarterly to drive material cost down. Manage program part award program in addition to tracking VPA and terms to ensure compliance. Provide updated pricing for ECO s that substantially alter the assembly cost. Manage material strategies for new product introduction Develop and manage weekly quote log.
