Quick Lube Technician - Driscoll Motors : Job Details

Driscoll Motor Co., Inc. Quick Lube is a locally owned and operated in Pontiac, Illinois area. We are looking for a skilled Quick Lube Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for changing oil/inspecting vehicle/checking out customer and handle cash/credit card transactions aiming to maximum accuracy. Compensation: Hourly and based on Quick Lube experience, and on an hourly bases up front, paid weekly. Your estimated annual income is $33,000 to 42,000. Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Quickly complete basic oil change process & small repairs such as changing wipers, plugs, add fluids as required.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Maintain equipment/tools and facility in good condition
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Ability to handle cash/credit card transactions on a PC
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Driscoll Motors group brand.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to handle Cash/Credit Card transactions accurately and work with customers with respect. Skills:

• Experience as auto mechanic
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Excellent physical condition
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
