As part of a team of technical experts, you will support the development of modernization technology roadmaps and strategic documents, ensuring alignment with DoD goals. You will interact with senior DoD leaders and stakeholders, support technical assessments, analyze emerging technologies, and contribute to decision-making processes for modernization efforts. This role requires professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to national security.

As a Quantum Science SME, you will:

• Support the office of the Principal Director for Quantum Science within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.
• Advise on strategic direction for Quantum technology and develop relevant products.
• Create technology roadmaps for future Quantum developments for the DoD.
• Engage with the S&T community, industry, academia, and international partners for Quantum tech development.
• Analyze and track Quantum programs, assist in technical evaluations, and develop requirements.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other deliverables as directed.

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility within the last 24 months.
• PhD in a relevant STEM discipline and 20 years of applicable experience.

The salary range is USD $186,800 - $311,900 per year. Actual compensation depends on various factors. Benefits include healthcare, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance, and educational support.
